The Alpinist Universal Crampon is completely customizeable to fit any boot for any alpine climb. This Universal model is compatible to fit boots without automatic or semi-automatic attachments, and the bottom crampon's twelve, chromoly steel spikes were designed for firm snow and soft ice on low-angle alpine climbs ranging from glacial traverses to steep couloirs. If you come across vertical-to-overhung climbs, you can switch out the front part with the Alpinist Pro Front Part for an aggressive performance. You can also switch out the heel and toe bails to fit boots with automatic and semi-automatic attachments. Three front bail positions, two heel bail positions, three heel bail height settings, and an easy micro-adjustable linking bar give this crampon the precise fit necessary to feel secure wherever you climb.
