This solves one of the problems that often arise in the use of ascenders, which have always been designed and functional to climb up, but which become difficult to unlock and which do not allow the double phase. Used, also in expeditions, to go up on fixed ropes, it can also become the descent system on these same ropes. The large ring at the bottom allows it to be connected with the harness.
